The relationship between disinformation consumption and political and partisan identity and users' cognitive styles in social media, and the meanings of the left-right political dichotomy and the political categories of Portuguese parties are some of his main interests.

She is responsible for Science Communication at LabCom (UBI). Master in Social Communication from Universidade Federal Fluminense, Brazil (2018), with a dissertation on the use of amateur cameramen in the production of crime news. Graduated in Social Communication / journalism qualification from the Catholic University of Pernambuco, Brazil (2001). She worked as a journalist for more than 20 years in TV newsrooms in Brazil.
